GAUGE Presents John Coy

John Coy was a unique speaker so far, not only does he have a prolonged experience but he is really optimistic on what he does, he loves it why shouldn't he. He is a really charming person and inspiring to keep yourself positive in life. In other word he is a really down to earth person. What I learned about him is to never forget about your childhood because thats how you become creative. Being a child as it seems is what may keep us creative and curious.

The power of words

The other day I came across this video and I started to think about the class and what words can create. Words as it seem create an emotional reaction such as: rage, sadness, happiness, joy to just mention a few. Words are a powerful way to communicate as shown in this video. Enjoy!

Headline
When coming up with a good slogan for a campaign what is important for me is having an understanding of who your audience is first. I am well aware that the audience has the key elements that will make your advertisement a success or a failure. Also, your audience can be affected in many ways depending how the designer approaches their idea and represents the company. Here I am posting some examples that I believe make a great and catchy headline/slogan.
What makes a good headline/slogan?
The slogan many be: Funny, rewards the reader, changes the meaning, have unique and interesting photography, mood, feel (emotional connection), meaning, stunts the audience, Strong, interesting, memorable, uses puns to mention a few.
